Overview
The Pyramid Hill gold project lies about 80 km north of Bendigo, in the Bendigo Zone of central Victoria, the same geological zone as the Bendigo and Fosterville goldfields.
Morgan was part of the Chalice team behind the acquisition of the project. In December 2021 Chalice demerged Pyramid Hill, together with its Viking and Mt Jackson projects in Western Australia, into a new company, Falcon Metals. Falcon listed on the ASX after an oversubscribed A$30 million IPO at A$0.50 per share, and Chalice shareholders received about 117 million Falcon shares in specie, worth about A$58.5 million at the IPO price.
