Thayer Lindsley Award
Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)
For an international mineral discovery, recognising the Julimar Ni–Cu–PGE discovery, whose potential was first spotted in airborne magnetic surveys.

About
Peron Discoveries is a Perth-based geological consulting and exploration project generation company. Clients work directly with an experienced exploration geologist, from first data review to final recommendation.
The company
We work with exploration and mining companies, boards and investors who need an independent, experienced view of where to explore, what a project is worth and what to drill next.
We measure our work by what it delivers for clients and their shareholders. The experience behind Peron Discoveries includes discoveries, resource growth, a spin-out and a corporate investment with more than A$1.4bn in published value.*
The work is done by the people whose names are on the report. That keeps judgement close to the data, keeps communication direct, and means confidential information stays with a small team.
The name and the ship in our logo look back to François Péron, the French naturalist of the Baudin expedition to Australia's western coast, remembered on today's map at Cape Péron and the Péron Peninsula in Shark Bay.

Principal Geologist
Co-founder, Director & Principal Geologist · MSc, MAIG, MSEG
Morgan Frejabise is an exploration geologist with more than 18 years in mineral exploration and discovery across gold, nickel, PGE, copper, base metals, lithium, uranium and iron ore. He originated Chalice’s Julimar project, which led to the Gonneville discovery, and is co-founder and Principal Geologist of Peron Discoveries.
He works across Archaean and Proterozoic terrains, combining field geology with structural interpretation, geochemistry and 2D to 3D modelling. Every appraisal starts from a mineral systems framework and an objective reading of the data.
Recognition
Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)
For an international mineral discovery, recognising the Julimar Ni–Cu–PGE discovery, whose potential was first spotted in airborne magnetic surveys.
Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC)
Recognising the Julimar discovery, described by AMEC as the largest nickel sulphide discovery in over 20 years and the largest PGE group discovery in Australian history.
