From regional insight to discovery.

Peron Discoveries is a Perth-based geological consultancy and project generator built around one result: value for our clients and their shareholders. We find, test and secure ground worth drilling.

Who we are

Senior exploration judgement, applied early.

The most valuable decisions in exploration are made before the first hole: which belt, which ground, which dataset to trust and which target to drill first.

Peron Discoveries brings the experience behind the Julimar, Bibra and Pyramid Hill outcomes to companies, boards and investors. We judge our work by what it does for our clients' shareholders: a better target, a stronger asset, a sounder deal. Every engagement is led by our Principal Geologist, Morgan Frejabise, from first data review to final recommendation.

About Peron Discoveries

Value delivered

Measured by shareholder value.

Exploration is only worth doing if it creates value. Our experience includes discoveries and resource growth that became development projects, ground that became a listed company, and an investment that returned capital.

Our approach

A mineral systems approach, from belt scale to drill collar.

We read a project the way the ore-forming system would have built it: where the metal came from, how it moved, and what trapped it. Then we let the data decide.

  1. 01

    Screen

Start at the scale of the mineral system. Regional geophysics, geology, geochemistry and open-file data show where the right ingredients come together.

  2. 02

    Rank

Score each area on technical merit, data quality, tenure cost and access, so effort goes where the odds are best.

  3. 03

    Secure

Design the land position and assemble the data package: tenure, heritage and environmental constraints, and historical results.

  4. 04

    Test

Turn the interpretation into drill-ready targets with a programme and budget, and supervise the work on the ground.

Recognised for discovery

The idea behind Julimar.

Julimar was Morgan Frejabise's idea. At Chalice he spotted the potential in airborne magnetics, pegged the ground and led the work up to the Gonneville PGE–Ni–Cu–Co–Au discovery, made under cover in 2020.

“The largest PGE group discovery in Australian history.”
